Purpose of Incorporation
1. To address and prevent problems faced by Indigenous youth by providing counselling services, group support and mentorship programs for Indigenous youth in a culturally appropriate manner.
2. To relieve conditions attributable to being aged by providing housekeeping, meals, nursing, shopping assistance, transportation to medical appointments and other assistance to Indigenous seniors and by providing in-home companionship and accompaniment to social outings to Indigenous seniors who are experiencing social isolation and loneliness, all in a culturally appropriate manner.
3. To promote and advance the health conditions of Indigenous individuals and families impacted by gender-based sexual violence and abuse with access to counselling, information, and other support programs.
4. To provide Indigenous healing and wellness programs, counselling and group support programs to Indigenous survivors of trauma, as well as to their families and communities.
5. To educate and increase the public’s understanding, knowledge and appreciation of Indigenous culture, traditions, customs and language.
6. To relieve poverty by providing food, water, clothing and other basic necessities of life to Indigenous individuals and families in need.
